Craig's List

Admittedly this is my first post on a blog and I have been racking my brain trying to come up with something profound that someone might want to read, but alas my brain has failed me again. If you have read this far you might as well keep reading. After all, you took the time to discover this blog and you did start to read it before realizing that it lacks anything that might resemble meaning or substance, so with that being said finish reading. Just by finishing reading this first post of mine you will be able to add one more thing to the list of things you started and finished today. I am only trying to help you feel accomplished, so please help me help you.

Moving on...... I decided that I would write about my latest passion. What is this passion? Well I am so glad you asked. It is the free section on craigslist.com. Imagine never paying for anything ever again. It isn't that great, but it is pretty darn near close. It is amazing what people give away. You can find anything from couches to beds to books, clothes, computer monitors, TV’s. The other night this guy gave away his old ipod. It is rapidly becoming my new vice. I check this section several times a day. It gives me the same feeling as when I am gambling away all my money in Vegas. That "would if this is the time" feeling. You get that same feeling of anticipation only you don't have to ante up to see the cards. I love it! Not to mention that I have come into a new bedroom set, washer and dryer, books, couch, and a number of other quality items. There is one drawback. This drawback being that you have to stay on top of the postings because things go really fast. Check it out and see for yourself. Keep your eyes peeled. You just might find everything you never thought you could afford and everything you can afford, but would never want to spend your own money on.
